LavaLinx™ provides a ranking system for linking partners to help webmasters know who
is good to link to. Anyone that does link trading knows that a number of websites like to cheat on links. LavaLinx™ gives
a great incentive to honest link partners because they'll rank better, thus more webmasters will want to exchange links with them.

Do I need more than one site to do 3 way or triangle trades?
You do not need more than one site to do 3 way link trading, but it certainly increases your options.
In order for an account with one site to enter into 3 way link exchanges it must trade with accounts that have at least two sites.
If you have more than one site, you do not have this limitation.

What are sending and receiving pages?
Sending pages are the pages in a website that send links, usually called link pages or resources pages. Receiving pages are pages
in a site that links are pointed to, usually homepages or other main pages in your site.

What happens when you enable/disable sending and receiving pages?
When you disable sending or receiving pages they no longer show up as a page that can send or receive a link in the link wizard or in the LavaLinx™ network. For example on sending pages you might want to disable trading on pages that have reached a maxium number of links.

What are external trades?
External trades are all link trades made with sites outside of the LavaLinx™ network. You can either save trades you've already made
for management or link checking purposes, or you can email link trades out to other webmasters.

What are sending and receiving sites?
Sending sites are sites that only send links out, or provide backlinks for other sites. Receving sites are sites that just receive backlinks from other sites.

What's the difference between a static and a dynamic sending page?
A static sending page is a page that would require being updated manually through ftp or another method to update your web page with link trades. A dynamic
sending page automatically posts link trades to your web page.

Is LavaLinx™ another link farm?
LavaLinx™ is built to facilitate link trades with the most relevant websites and/or web pages to your site's industry, product or service. Relevant link trades are always good for the user and their experience on the internet. LavaLinx™ is NOT about spammy link trading and/or FFA link pages.

I'm afraid to use a link trading system, will the search engines penalize my site?
Why would the search engines penalize a site for making the internet a better user experience? LavaLinx™ is all about relevant links to relevant sites.
But having said that, we do try to keep our users completely anonymous. Unlike most link trading systems, LavaLinx™' network of traders is behind an account login, where the search engines can't get to it. Our dynamic link placing functionality works server-side, and there are no comment tags or references to LavaLinx™. Also, LavaLinx™ does not create link directories or links pages on your site (which are a pretty good sign of link trading). LavaLinx™ is built to place contextual links in content pages.
When using LavaLinx™ we also make a number of recommendations for savvy triangle and parallel trading. Parallel link trading is particularly safe, because the only relationship that exists between the four sites is behind an account login in LavaLinx™.
